The Construction Process

It’s time to break ground! You will now begin to see your dream become a reality.

You can expect several milestones during the first phase of construction. The foundation will go down, the frame will go up, and the mechanicals will be installed.

Prior to beginning the second phase of construction, you will walk the house with the project manager.  Walking the house at this time will allow you to compare the layout to the plan for accuracy prior to closing in the walls.

The major milestones in the second phase of construction include drywall installation, interior and exterior finishes, and fixtures.  The rooms come to life and you will definitely begin to envision your family in the space during the phase.

When your house is finished, you’ll do a final walkthrough with the Project Manager. This is the time to inspect every inch of the house and ask questions. The Project Manager will develop a punch list of items to be addressed.  Once you have the answers and the details are addressed, it's time to close.
